I am a former volunteer and I was one of the protesters of 1992. =( I can't believe this crazy woman has been able to keep this hell hole open this long. HOPEFULLY this place will be shut down so those poor animals won't have to suffer any more. You have my support.
I can't believe the VILLAGE OF BLOOMINGDALE has allowed this abuse and misuse of funds to continue for 30 YEARS!
The State of Illinois inspector-COLLEEN O'KEEFE needs to make UNANNOUNCED VISITS to this hellhole. Not enough inspectors to do the job? I know many people who would be more than happy to inspect some of these `shelters' as volunteers.
I will not give 1 penny to anything connected to the VILLAGE OF BLOOMINGDALE.
I certainly hope that the charges against the Carol Stream woman who rescued the papillion will be dropped. Talk about where's the justice?
Seems like someone's palm is getting greased.
I volunteered at this shelter in the late 80s and saw so many red flags then. I would be happy to join any organized effort to close this place. Dale Armon clearly has no place in running an animal care facility. The people and village of Bloomingdale have blood on their hands as long as they continue to overlook the animals that suffer at Pet Rescue.
