These are some of the sick and neglected animals from Pet Rescue.
For some inexplicable reason, the Illinois Department of Agriculture doesn't see anything wrong with this.
The Rottweiler who lived in this cage had to be euthanized.
He had open sores on his body from being forced to lay in his own waste for days on end.

Litter boxes at the "sanctuary".
May 2008: 2-3 volunteers per night are given 45 minutes to walk 40-50 dogs and care for 160 cats. Whether dogs have been walked, cats’ litter boxes cleaned, and fresh water & food supplied to all is irrelevant. At 9 PM, volunteers are forced to leave for the day. This leaves many animals to go hungry every night, dogs not to be let out of their cages, and for litter boxes and dog crates to accumulate waste day after day, in stark contrast to “the sanctuary” that Armon advertises Pet Rescue to be.
Dead mouse
6/4/08: A dead mouse is found next to food and utensils. Common occurrence due to unsanitary conditions that have been repeatedly reported to the Illinois Department of Agriculture since 1980.
Venus - chronic diarrhea
May 2008: Venus has had chronic upper respiratory infections and diarrhea for at least one year, yet continues to be denied veterinary care. Note diarrhea encrusted tail.

May 2008: Sick since September 2007, Zeus has never been treated by a veterinarian.

This makes me so sick. My family adopted a beautiful collie from pet rescue more than 20 years ago. He was a great dog and lived to be almost 15! After hearing all of this about Pet Rescue, I am so glad we saved him. It breaks my heart and turns my stomach to think about all of those loving cats and dogs that are denied the same love in return. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE close down this hell-hole and give these animals a chance.

They'll get theres, they both look like they are a doughnut away from a heart attack. They will be going straight to hell, with there lawyer by there side.
